Casshern Sins=Amazing
I Just watched episode 9 and I have to say that so far Casshern Sins is the only show from this season to not only meet my expectations but exceed them well I am also still enjoying Mouryou no Hako immensely as well but it's subbed so slowly.
As for other fall shows Tytania and Michiko to Hatchin are still fun to watch but they are not as good as I expected them to be after their early episodes. Maybe they will get better as they go on I don't know.
But anyways back to Casshern Sins. Seriously the fact that so few people seem to be watching this excellent series is upsetting. But then again I am used to people overlooking the good stuff. Originally I was afraid the series would be too somber but what makes Casshern Sin so special is it finds beauty within that sadness. It brings you to mind the famous quote from Kino no Tabi "the world is not beautiful therefore it is".
Besides story the series looks amazing (see screencaps behind cut). The colors are mostly dull to fit the mood of the story but every once and awhile there are these beautiful flashes of color. The animation is also very nice. And the action scenes look great.
Casshern Sins also has an awesome OST composed by Kaoru Wada (same composer for Inuyasha & Princess Tutu)
edit: And hopefully by posting this I didn't jinx the series so "knocks on wood" that it stays amazing :)
