It was probably a bad idea to sit down at 11:45 to watch The Assassination of Jesse James but I went ahead and did it anyhow.  A fine film.  I can see now why it didn't quite go over big in the movie houses though.  The tone is odd, the pacing all over the place, and there's an absence of likeability in all the characters involved.  Solid ( Read more... )

Back in November, the San Diego Chargers defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 23-21, but it took a career-high six interceptions by Peyton Manning and a missed 29-yard field goal by Adam Viniateri at the end of the game for them to pull it off.
