Midday Report
Today's song is brought to you by Band of Horses. They're one of the handful of bands that I am currently digging quite a bit. This song is off their most recent release (the album is called Cease to Begin). Listening is, as always, totally optional but gently encouraged.
Inspired by pharmbear, I'm heading with some of the guys for sushi dinner tonight. I went with something cutting edge, hip, very now, and called our little group the SD Sushi Bears. Yeah, I know... I need to branch out. How 'bout the 619 Bears Who Like Sushi? Anywho, about 10 of us are heading to a spot in Old Town to have some (hopefully) yummy grub. The plan is to check out a new sushi spot about once a month. There's a quite a few s.spots in SD so it'll be fun giving new ones a try. I will say it's tough to find good spots online as most food sites that list sushi places have reviews as follows:

The rolls are excellent if a little typical.
So yeah... Perhaps I will become part of the solution to this problem by posting somewhat articulate reviews of our consumption functions...
I went to check in with my pal Lil' J on YouTube today. Seems that tweens and assorted net trash never tire in their quest to pwn her. Poor kitty, they just don't understand your desire to be heard (hmmm... wait, scratch that... they totally do understand it - they share it). Curse me for reading the comments though. Curse me double for even considering leaving a comment along the lines of "You will all die alone" or "15,000+ comments... Hmm, 14,999 of you need to be surgically altered to avoid further societal atrophy".
Today was my first day carpooling. I was up at 5:30am so I could be ready to split by 6:10am. Had time to get some Starbucks for my fellow carpoolers. At this moment I am a bit foggy but okay besides. I figure I am up about 16 bucks for not driving, 7.50 for bringing my own lunch, but down 12 for the early morning Frapuccinos... I do feel nice and green and pretentious though. Yaay Me.
Oh yeah, Jason is coming to SD again in August... We're gonna see Spring Awakening together and knowing that's in the future is enough to get me outta bed smiling (for at least another couple of mornings).

ps2 - Yes, it's true... I really do think the new Kelly video is The Suck... That bottle done lost its lightening...
