Sexy Vegetarian Bears, Who Knew?
Last night at the bar was pretty damn nifty. Already spoiled with having
maverick1303 working the patio with me - not to mention pretty regular visits from
bearxxl,
bnsd70, Tom (no LJ yet for Tom), and a lot of the other SD gang. Last night
pinner123 and
cavbear28 also came in along with some other folks like soon-to-have-a-birthday-non-LJer-Justin. So I was already havin' a fun night just having those guys around when along comes the Holiday Party Bus that brought bartenders and staff from a couple of the local bars in an avalanche of drunken merriment. Matt and I were both quickly slammed but it worked out well in the this-will-help-pay-for-christmas kinda way.
And one other bear bud came by. His name is JP, he's been in SD since '88 and we had never met until last Friday. He's got a twinkle in his eye and a kindness in his smile and I think dinner and a movie (or Guitar Hero) are in our immediate future...
