I just finished the last bit of real work I need to do before the Holiday break. Tomorrow I head North to Bakersfield to hang with the family for a few days. Mom roped me into singing with the choir on Sunday morning and Sunday evening at the Christmas Eve service. She also roped me into playing bells in the handbell choir - I haven't played in over a decade, yikes. [Note - insert all of yer comments about what a ginormous fag I am for having ever played bells of any kind--I'll try and scan a pic of me from back in the day playing if I can]. On the way to Bako I'll stop by Kevin and Michael's for their house warming in Silverlake. Mikey and Rob should be there and hopefully Jaime too. Should be a nice stop over considering what I expect to be a hectic Saturday of driving.

I'll be coming back to SD on Christmas Day so I can work at the bar from 9pm 'til close. If you're in town and want to have your bells jingled or yer cockles warmed be sure to come in. I'll have my santa cap on and plenty of candy to stuff if yer stockings...

My buddy Alex has generously agreed to play taxi bear and give me a lift to Magic Mountain the next morning so I can hang with Sluggo and some of the other boys and get one last visit in on my annual pass. Bonus points for getting to see Mike's friend Dave who I met last year on our trip to Disney. Dave is aces!

After that I go into full on get ready mode as I'll have the pleasure of finfinfin's company for New Years. Wee! We're still planning on Disney (but now we're thinking Saturday instead) and tooling around LA some on Friday. Let me know if yer gonna be around and want to join us!

Not sure how much more I'll be posting between now and '07 so I'll leave you with my best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season and an excellent New Year for us all.

It's been a pleasure...

Oh yeah, and here's some Christian-laced old skool holiday fare to get you in the mood to be jolly.

And if that doesn't work there's always this
