Summer Grades:
Business Calculus: A
Economics II: A
C++ Programming: A-
Personal Computer Applications: C+
Yes, go ahead and laugh at the fact that I can get an A- in programming and then do abysmal at Microsoft Office. I still hold that PCA was my most worthless class this semester.
Praise God, I'm just happy to be doing better in school again. Oh, and it's nice to not be on academic probation again too.
This fall I'm taking the following:
Intermediate Microeconomics
Natural Resource Economics
Data Strucutres and Algorithms I/Lab
Professional Ethics for Electrical Engineers
Spanish III
Obviously that's more Economics than I originally thought I'd take. I've decided that I'll probably major in Economics and Computer Science, which is helpful considering that neither major alone gives enough credit hours for me to be full time. Professional Ethics is on there to get me closer to my minor in Electrical Engineering, which will fulfill Concentration #1 in Computer Science. Spanish III is on there porque me gusta espanol because I'm obviously a nerd like that.
And for anyone who is actually interested in it, I'm making progress on my game. Most of the classes are established and the items, while not actually made, have data locations set aside. The database will be more organized than my last attempt, which is good for me, but doesn't actually do anything for the player. As far as gameplay goes, I'm working on Tutorial Mountain at the moment. My cut-scene skills are getting better too; I've made a scene where Jeff does a drunken dance in the local pub. I'll probably make him to The Worm at some point too... I know you're all looking forward to that. I'll probably change push it back before it's over, but for now I'm still looking at a December 31, 2008 release date for the demo.
