Okay, let's start with classes first. I'm going to keep this part short and quick so we can get it out of the way and move on to some other stuff. Intermediate Microeconomics is fun, Natural Resource Economics is more fun, Data Structures and Algorithms I is tough, but nice, and we're only just starting Professional Ethics so I can't say much about that. Spanish III... that was a bad idea, I think. I used to do well in Spanish, but two years inbetween classes took that away. I'll probably drop it, but I don't know yet.
Our new guy quit due to family issues, so we have another open slot in the Pro Shop. This isn't so bad, but my immediate boss is on vacation, so things are a bit hectic around here. If you don't mind having your soul crushed and are 18 or older, feel free to apply for the job.
As far as my game is concerned, things are going well. Tutorial Mountain (which is more of a tutorial for me than the player) is a success. The game involves a jumping "engine", which should make for some interesting puzzles and mazes. Some of the puzzles can be permanently messed up, so I stole an idea from Lufia II and gave the player a Stopwatch, which will go back in time and reset failable puzzles. Darrin will appreciate the inclusion of Hi-Elixirs, Eric will despise enjoy the Ike dialogue, and everyone loves Hammertime. Oh, and there's a joke about John McCain's age. I'm voting for him, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to poke fun at him like everyone else.
With the success of Tutorial Mountain, I can pretty much guarantee 12/31/08 as the deadline for the demo.
