Earlier this morning, the fire alarms went off…again. This happens about once every two weeks or so, it’s basically a nuisance alarm. Sometimes, the alarm will stay on for several minutes and sometimes it stays on for only a minute. You never know if this is a false alarm, a drill or a real fire. Apparently, many individuals around here have become immune to the warning bells and simply choose to ignore them because it’s bothersome. This worries me. After all, it was those alarms that saved Kitty and I - and quite possibly the Brighton Building itself.
