Thursday December 15, on the streets and alleyways. Around 8:30 P.M

Jul 01, 2009 14:50

It was getting dark outside and Yuu knew it was time for him to follow through with his well-devised plan. Now that the idea was stuck into his head, he was not going to let anything get in between him and success. He had to steal the money. Not only because he needed it, but also because deep down he knew it would give him some kind of retribution for the death of his family.

He swiftly walked through the alley ways that he had been walking through since Sunday when he first saw the drug dealers gathered there. Yuu thought he must either be really sneaky or the dealers were just not at the top of the Druggie chain. As he approached the usual corner wall that he used as his cover, he decided that it was more the fact that the dealers just could not pull it together. It was no surprise to him that they were arguing once more. He was slightly confused that no one other than himself have tried scamming the group of idiots. Although he was not too sure that it hasn't happened before.

When the guy who seemed like the boss was not there, the two lower-ranked members were always bickering about who was the better dealer. They seemed to idolize the boss and competed over who was the favorite. Yuu, at one point, felt like this was way more work than pay, but the constant delivery of money to the two guys and the idea of temporary retribution assured him that it would be well worth it in the end.

Yuu peered his head out a little more than usual just to make sure their boss was not lurking a short distance away. The boss was a little more wise than the other two and Yuu thought he could not be fooled as easily by his tricky ploys. Now was the time for him to pull his stunt and he then started to do so with little to no nerves. He first took a small step into the same alley way where the dealers were situated. He started walking up to where they were standing and was practically right behind them.

They did not notice he was there until he suddly cleared his throat. The two dealers seemed to almost jump out of their skins in fright and Yuu took note that they should not be allowed on the streets as much at they were already allowed. While they were still trying to gain control over themselves, Yuu started talking.

"Hey. Didn't mean to scare you guys," Yuu began, actually amused that he startled them so much.
The other two men tried composing themselves as fast as they could as if to hide that they looked so spooked when Yuu first appeared.
One of them finally said a few words back to Yuu.
"You ain't scare us kid. What are you doing here anyway?", said the taller one who he didn't see from last time.
Yuu looked them both square in the eye with no waver in his confidence.
"I thought you guys might be interested in a deal", he said with an alluring tone.
"Oh really", the smaller guy said with a huff. "well it better be good".
At that, Yuu took out a ziploc baggy filled with a white powdery substance from one of his pockets.
"Well I was going to offer this to you for all the money you have in that envelope", Yuu nodded his head to where the envelope was rested.
The other two looked at the powder and then at the envelope of money. "Now why would we do that? We can get that at any time."
Yuu shook his head and gave one of those all knowing smiles. "Because it isn't what you think it is, it's much better. It's been selling on the streets in other cities for stacks of money higher than that in your tiny little envelope. You might not know of it because it's new."
The two other guys looked at eachother as though they were already hooked, but they were still skeptical at the idea. The taller one decided to ask him a question that he thought was important.
"Well if it's worth so much than why are you selling it to us for so cheap?"
Yuu knew the question was coming and already had his answered planned. "Because I've gotten myself in a bit of trouble with rivaling gangs and I need to do what I can without being noticed".
They both seemed to be thinking it over and would whisper a few words to eachother here and there. The taller guy then decided to speak up once again. "Okay. We'll take the deal, but if we suspect any funny business you'll be sorry you scammed us."
Yuu kept a straight face this time and nodded his head at the statement. "Don't worry. You guys don't seem to be easily scammed. All you have to do now is hand over the money and don't tell your boss about me. He might recognize my name and ruin the whole deal."
The two men nodded their heads in agreement and the smaller one went to grab the envelope from the case it was rested upon. They then exchanged their items. Yuu took his very nonchalantly while the two dealers grabbed at the platic bag as though the contents were gold.
Before turning to leave, Yuu had a few more words to exchange with them. " If you guys want more, Ill be here the same time next month for the same price. I would advise two things. Don't let your boss know about the deal. Trust me I know from experience that bosses do not like back hand deals. Second, do not do the drugs yourselves. It may be tempting, but the boss will know you are on something different since it is not like anything else."
The smaller dealer started to "but" in protest, but Yuu waved his hand at him. "Just trust me. You'll be making big money, so don't worry about anything else."

At that statement, Yuu walked away back to his makeshift home leaving the two dealers standing there and staring at the mysterious powder that they held in their hands. It was against Yuu's character to talk so much, but he felt good about the heist that he just pulled. He flipped through all the bills in the envelope and knew that he was taken care of for a very long while. He might even invest in an apartment.

All he had to worry about now was one of his usual lady customers complaining about where all her pain medication was. It didn't matter to him too much though. They were only placebos that the doctors gave her to make her happy. Who it wouldn't make happy was now the dealer's problems. Yuu wasn't going to show up next month to the same spot. He knew there wouldn't be anyone to meet him there.
