About a week ago I placed the unused leaf of the kitchen table over the arms of the treadmill and fixed a lamp in place to shine upon it - creating a makeshift walking desk. Rain today, quite heavy at times and forecast to continue all day well into the night, so I fully expected to do the minimum on the treadmill this evening. But then there was a break in the storm clouds large enough for me to risk riding to the shop for a few items. So, today, 2 miles total 47 mi. 350 mi and 236 days remaining).

Biked to store and back yesterday (to get 2L Pepsi with which to make mosquito trap - also picked up small bottle of microbrew root beer for myself. Not bad). Gave blood yesterday & rode my bike there. Blood drive was at the Elk's Lodge on Park Street (about 2.25 miles from home), appt was for 2. Arrived just before 2 - no drive. Went in to ask - was told the drive had been moved to the high school - a quarter mile up the road ( Read more... )

Walked a mile yestermorn - then got called into the library early. Walked to the store and back today - that's about 3 miles, more or less. I'm claiming three in any rate for a total of 33 miles.
