I made it to Rivendell Saturday. (Though I didn't realize it until just now when I checked my Fitbit totals for the past few days). AND I reached the Last Homely House a full day before Bilbo and company (yay me!), on the 37th day. A total of 340 miles in 32 days. Not bad. 60 miles to go. I'm 23 miles ahead of Bilbo and company; two days; though that will begin to change. They're about to meet the trolls and ... more importantly, lose one of their pack-horses - the one with the food supplies. I am considering getting some sort of low-tech step device for use whilst watching tv. The pedal is all well and good, but it is difficult to use in the living room.

85 0 Stay at the inn much of the morning. Then skirt Bree-hill and turn east.
86 1 Reach the South-gate of Bree. Leave village and ride east on the road.
91 5 Camp next to a trail leading north into the Chetwood on Bree-hill.

91 0 Ride east at a leisurely pace. Road runs ESE skirting the Chetwood.
