Na Gurnaidh Dragons - Duquesne Information

Apr 22, 2013 09:12

He has been identified - Fritz Duquesne, Boer, big-game hunter, terrorist. He had been one of the applicants - Captain C. Biggar ... a name that turns out to belong to a character in a P.G. Wodehouse story. He planned to butcher the inhabitants of the Preserve and sell them off piecemeal on the black market to finance his private war.

Additionally, we have learned more about Bailey's intentions. She had been in contact with a group wishing to put a luxury compound here in the Valley - on land belonging to the Preserve. Bailey thought that if she could "clean out" the dragons, that the town could take over the land for her own use. The knights were her catspaws in the plot.

The remaining magistrates have made it more than clear to them that they are not welcome, that we do NOT need their dubious protections and furthermore, we'd like use of our armory back. they are packing up to go now, metaphoric tails firmly between their collective legs. I guess ... they aren't really used to people who don't appreciate their narrow view of the world and how it should be.

Young Mr. Tennyson has returned to his group. He had gotten himself lost while out hiking. I'm surprised that none of the dragon patrols had come across him, but I suppose that they were busy with the search for Duquesne.
