Interesting how I’m meeting the same people on the Rail-Trail, because I was out so late, they were mostly on their ways back rather than to. Stopped at the PO for stamps and to mail off a package - went into Salvation Army & got a new pin for my hat, then took up the trail to Fairbanks. There’s a new Post gnome in the office, a young one; but Ernie was there too. And I now have fewer miles than are days left in the year - YAY!
