Bought these Too Faced Lock Down Ultimate Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow from AllCosmeticsWholesale.com during their sitewide 10% discount sale.
These cream eye shadows are heavily discounted on the site (US8.99, down from its retail price of US18.50) and with the 10% sale, the deal was made sweeter.
I am a fan of cream shadows as a base and what attracted me most was...
the fact that these cream eye shadows are infused with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eyeshadow Primer!
I am a huge fan of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and prefer it over the Urban Decay Primer Potion and since the cream shadows are infused with my favourite eye shadow primer, I HAD to try it no?
Description from Too Faced website:
What It Is:
Our effortless, water-resistant cream shadow formula combines the drama of deep, intense metallic pigment with our anti-crease Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer for a sophisticated, shimmering shadow that won’t fade or smudge. Versatile enough to wear alone for stunning shine or as a shadow base for buildable beauty.
More To Love:
Creaseless Cream Formula: Your peepers are protected from creasing, fading and smudging.
Enriches and Conditions: Soothes and nourishes eye area with good-for-you Vitamin E.
Effortless Application: Creamy, long-wearing formula is easy to apply.
Being a fan of neutrals, I bought Bondage, Bedroom Eyes and Dramarama.
The packaging of these creaseless cream eyeshadow resembles the shadow insurance too!
The shadow insurance retails for US18 for 11g while the creaseless cream eye shadow is US18.50 for 8g.
In general, I really do like these creaseless cream eyeshadows! They work just as well as the shadow insurance! They are a tinted eyeshadow primer to me! Wearing it on its own or under my eyeshadow, my eye makeup stays put the entire day without creasing / smudging or even fading! Even my eyeliner stays put!
IT IS AMAZING! This product has gotta be one of the best cream shadows I have ever tried! I have never been so amazed by a product in a long long long time that since the day I received it, I have never stopped using them! I use Bondage as an all over primer over the entire lid and another shade (either the Bedroom Eyes or Dramarama) from my lash line to my crease and apply my shadow over it.
If you love the Too Faced Shadow Insurance, you will definitely love these creaseless cream eyeshadows! I am lemming to get the remainding shades!
Well, I am on the fence about getting the remainding shades and even back ups because....
Look at the crimped end of Bondage!
The second time I used it, I realized that air was kinda being released at the top and when I examined the tube closely, I notice that the crimp has been loosen to the extend that I can view the entire inner tube!
Fortunately, it was only 1 tube outta the 3. I now secure the opening with several layers of sticky tape. -sigh- Hopefully the contents will not dry up.
I have actually heard of the packaging woes of these creaseless cream eye shadows but did not think it will happen to me!
Double fortunately that Bondage is used as an all over lid primer every single day so I am using it pretty quickly! I can't wait to complete this tube! Should I get another tube with the possibility of such a packaging malfunction or get over them?
They work really really extremely extremely well on me! -deep huge sigh-
Swatches time!
Squeezed out from the tube, from left to right: Bondage, Bedroom Eyes & Dramarama.
Bondage is a light champagne shade, perfect for fairer skin tones as an all over lid primer.
Bedroom Eyes is a medium brown shade, perfect as a base for your neutral shadows that will be perfect for work.
Dramarama is a rich chocolate brown shade, perfect as a base for your dark smokey neutral eyes which is my favourite!
I really really really love these Lock Down Ultimate Creaseless Cream Eye Shadows!
Should I or should I not repurchase them?
