About the boyfriend, I think you should call him and find out what's going on. Be firm and ask him why he hasn't called since Wednesday, and that if there are any problems there they should be put out in the open. Since you're in a relationship with him, you deserve an answer. If he has any problems in his personal life you should be his confidant and the first one to know. Don't think that calling him shows that you're too desperate or too clingy---if he hasn't spoken to you since Wednesday, that is not a comfortable feeling. You shouldn't have to deal with that uncertainty

Hi, I know we haven't spoken in a long time but I just feel compelled to comment. I felt the same way about GW when I went. I wanted to come home all the time, it was too far for me (and IU is farter), and I never wanted to go back. I would cry every time I thought about going back. I felt like everyone else around me was having the time of their lives and I was miserable 24/7.
I got extreamly lucky with transferring to NYU. I think if you still feel the same way about school go for the transfer. It's easier to get into schools when you're a transfer too. You can be closer to home and what not.
My other piece of advice, don't approach the next semester like it's going to suck. I went into GW knowing I was going to hate it and it made me really sad and miserable. Just know that if it doesn't work out, you're not alone in feeling how you are and you can always always transfer.
O Kimmy - I know I can't offer u advice on transferring & the boy troubles but I thought Ang and Elise did an awesome job with that!
If you're free tonight I have something that may cheer you up - maybe driving around at night and looking for tractors may help too! I'll try and call you at work!
