The withdrawal symptoms are much better now. No nausea today at all. Only slight digestive difficulties. Headaches still terrible, but I don't think that's a withdrawal effect anymore; I think it's just the headaches that caused me to start taking codeine in the first place. Got the biopsy results from the dermatologist. The latest unusual mole was benign but "atypical" (showing abnormal cells that indicate a risk of melanoma), but the doc says she's sure that she removed the entire thing & so isn't worried. Shannon & I worked out a plan for the whole yarn money situation. All is well on that score. I've now completed five rows of green & have had to stop, because I need to wait until my order of the blue yarn arrives, or the green stripe will end up wider than I want it to be. Wow. Yarn is really expensive. I think I'll be making the most expensive afghan ever, but if it helps me forget about the headaches, it will be worth it. In any case, it's going to be gorgeous.
