Goodwill Has Gone Stupid
Today I ran some errands, and -- dude! Goodwill charges $9.99 for a used blanket? (As opposed to those new blankets they sell at Goodwill, you know.) Icon used because wesleysgirl bought a copy of Howl's Moving Castle yesterday. Yay, Howl's Moving Castle! I should watch that on DVD sometime, since I haven't watched it since I bought it. I loved the book even more than the movie. It made more sense.

Shannon and I have been watching season 5 of The Shield (from Netflix), and I'm impressed that the show is still so good. It's a very tense series. This season's villain is a guy who wants to take down dirty cops, which I enjoy, because in any other situation he would probably be considered a good guy. I read the first volume of Fables today, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Shannon recommended it to me months ago -- possibly years ago -- but I never got around to reading it until now.
