I just realized yesterday that I can actually ask friends with cars for help sometimes, now that it's harder for me to go long distances, haul heavy stuff in my backpack, etc. It totally hadn't occurred to me until yesterday that friends with cars might be willing to help occasionally, and that I could ask. Today Shannon and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary by biking to Emeryville to see the last Harry Potter movie and then having dinner at Chevy's. We had a great time, though there was a bit of a bike crash (no one was hurt) on the way home.
