(no subject)
We got all of our errands ran yesterday. We dropped Jack at my mom's at 9 and then went to the compost site to drop off a bunch of bags of leaves, then went to Cub, then brought the groceries home, then went to the bank, got gas and then went to Walmart.
Turns out Jack and Rosemary never went on their bike ride together. Rosemary was scared of the buggy. I'm not sure if she's ever been in there before. So they played for a bit at Mary Alice's (Rosemary's Grandma) and then just my mom and Jack took a short bike ride. We picked him up about noon and then came home for nap time. I tried for an hour and a half to nap but was unsuccessful :(
Jared's mom Carole and his stepdad Shelby stopped by for a visit and Jack got to try out his new bubble blower thing that we got him at Walmart. The kids all like to blow bubbles but Jack can't really do it yet so we got him a little battery operated bubble blower. He loves it!

Yesterday Jack started saying "nope" in response to a few questions. He also started saying "pretty good" when you ask him "how's it goin?".
We joined one of those book clubs a couple of weeks ago. Jack got his new books yesterday. We gave him 3 and kept 4 for his birthday. We have to order like 3 more in the next couple of years. The 3 he got to have yesterday are How Many Kisses Do You Want Tonight?, Llama Llama Mad At Mama and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The 4 we're saving for his birthday are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Pirates Don't Change Diapers, I Like Myself and Panda Bear Panda Bear. He was really excited about them and we read them several times on the porch last night. We spent all afternoon and all evening on the porch!
We're taking Nan and Pop out for breakfast this morning for Nan's birthday. It was the 7th but she was out of town. This afternoon is Brooke's birthday party. It's looking like thundetstorms today :(
