Sometimes I forget just how long I've been using this computer. My music section almost filled up today, and while cleaning up in there, I happened across the pack of audio cuts inthesto made for my part in Impromptu (back in late 2005). Just got back from the fun. concert, and it was absolutely spectacular. They made me forget that I still had a headache. Seriously, they put so much more energy into the performance, I was completely blown away. When I talked to them at the end of the night to get my shirt signed. I totally fanboyed so much. I stopped by Dimple Records before work yesterday to pick up a physical copy of Appreciation Night, but apparently it's out of print. Looks like Amazon still has a few copies left, though, so that's cool. Still, I'm a little surprised the album's already discontinued. It's only three years old, after all ( Read more... )

Choppy radio is more annoying when it's playing music off of my phone through a cassette adapter, making the adapter unusable when it cuts out for a couple seconds every now and again, because it takes something like five seconds for the adapter to reconnect after the power cuts out ( Read more... )

Kathie's picked up the pace and released the work schedules for the next two weeks. That's good. Both weeks have me continuing as a 2-7 and closing almost every night. That's less good. Apparently fun is playing San Francisco on May 19, but I won't be back from Hawaii until the following day. Sad day. :(
