Back in Portland
So I havent written in a while but I'm back up in Portland now for the summer. I have my first tuba lesson with Dr. John Richards tommorow, so I'm excited but feeling stupid because I didn't practice for a week or so and lost all my chops. They really shoulsnt decay so fast, its lame. I went swing dancing tonight for the first time in forever, and it was a good time. The rain on the way there was scary though, so much water was coming down I literally couldnt see anything. And then a tree was blocking the exit to the highway. But I made it safely and had fun. I am still waiting for the hospital to call me back and hopefully hire me. If they don't I am definatly teaching the karate summer camps but I guess I'll apply at Old Spaghetti Factory and some other places. I don't really want to work evenings though because I am really excited about getting back into karate and swing. Karate had a demo at the Asia expedition this weekend which went preety well. I also went to the beach with Howard. We camped and had a fire and everything. Apparantly agate beach does not have any agates on it, but we did see some cool starfish. I also showed him the aquarium so that was fun, even though my camera ran out of batteries. It is sad being up here in portland with him in Salem. That means I can't watch his Japanese Doramas... Oh well. Anywho I am not really really bored yet, but its preety lonely not being able to talk to anyone I went to high school with when I am home. Maybe I'll getit together and plan stuff with Willamette peoples.
