Two Month Appointment
Luke has his 2 month appointment this afternoon. I'm excited to see how much he's grown! Ben weighed him last Thursday at his parents house and is guessing that he's about 12 pounds now. We'll see how close he is. So I'm looking forward to that and getting to ask the Pediatrician a few questions (like - should he be starting to sleep through the night by now? Can I do anything to help him along?), but I'm not looking forward to the shots. He is supposed to get 4 shots today! 4! He's seemed to handle everything else thrown his way pretty well, but 4 seems like a lot. The up side is that today is the day we decided that we can take him out to more places. It's pretty arbitrary but the doctor suggested to wait until after his 2 months shots. We've been taking him with us to friend's houses, church, and bible study, but I haven't taken him to the store or the library, and we've been keeping him close with us those other times. Maybe I'll take him to school sometime this week! The kids are so excited to see him, but I've been waiting... little kids have the most germs. Look out world!
