Connecticut
I was on vacation for two weeks: Montréal, San Francisco, and Minnesota. Then I had a week in NYC to pack up all of my stuff. That was hard.
I am now in Connecticut. I have a Connecticut driver's license. I didn't really want to change it, but I needed to do so to get my car. My car is a 2006 Hyundai Sonata.
Tomorrow I have my T.A. training, and on Thursday I have my departmental orientation.
I start my Ph.D. program on Monday.
Yes, I am well aware that this post consists of short, impersonal sentences. This is not my normal writing style. I am a bit overwhelmed with everything that's happening, and that has made me exhausted. I have been spending a lot of time by myself in the past month. If anyone wants my mailing address (for, say, care packages or something), please leave me a comment with your email so I can email you my address.
