One of yesterday's many events including a trip to the zoo; since the temperature had sprung up to about freezing it was a very pleasant visit and the critters were quite active.
A couple of our little friends that we saw included the barn owl sunning itself
... and our white-handed gibbon youngster Manny
Almost completely unrelated, Elsie in strange perspective. Her face appears very long here, but I think she was also taking advantage of me being preoccupied with the camera to eat a paper coffee cup frozen in the snow...
