This weekend, San Francisco celebrated Gay Pride. This weekend, there's a one-acre pink triangle up on Twin Peaks; last night it came complete with floodlights, rotating searchlights, and pink balloons.

Gay sex has been illegal in India for 140 years. (British law - they ruled India then.)

That changed with a ruling from the Delhi High Court. I'd like to see the Supreme Court establish this, too.

Nice to see India rejoin the 21st century on this issue.

The latest is that one man, Chad Gibson, apparently received a brain injury in the police "inspection" of the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth. A Council member has called for an investigation, and the mayor has expressed concern. Associated Press reported on it.

There's to be a rally on July 12th 09 at Tarrant County Courthouse, 7 p.m. in protest.
