about time!
yeah, so, so much for trying to write in this sucker everyday, oi! you'd think i was busy and had a life or something... ... bleh.
but not much has really happened, other than my niece having her 2 year birthday Sunday (which we celebrated Monday night because she was at her Daddy's on sunday) not much happened (and i found her a My Little Pony Unicorn! yay! i've been looking for one to add to her 'herd').
But yeah, not much happening. Though i am VERY excited for September because not only will i start college (Joy to me! I finally did it!) but the last two DVD's of Fullmetal Alchemist come out a WEEK APART!!! AND!!! the Movie comes out the same day as the last DVD Disk! yay!!! so I'll be spending about $60 bucks in a day when i go gets them, but i don't care, yay! disk 12 comes out on the 5th, disk 13 and the movie come out on the 12th so i'm excited. I know that the ending won't be the happy ending i want (i've come to expect this from this particular anime production team.. group..) but i'm still excited. joys!
Today though i ended up staying at work a half hour longer. i know that doesn't seem like nothing; but when you are standing on your feet for 6 hours straight at the cashwrap with NO ONE to back you up if there is a rush, when the days ends, you just want to leave. and the thing that annoyed me was that the Managers didn't really do much to fix the problem when i suddenly find out 10 minutes before i have to leave, that my replacement is home with a concussion, so she wouldn't be coming in at all when i asked where she was. I sort of blinked and went "oh... well that would do it..." and then ended up having to wait while they scratched their heads to figure out who would go where so i could go home. *sigh* just one of those moments where i wonder why they didn't try to call someone in when the manager KNEW about this error back at 7 in the morning. the person wouldn't have had to come in till 3 so 'time management' really wasn't the issue there. Sure, i hate being called in on my day off just like the rest of ya'll! but i was tired! ;.; so this is my whiney lil' blip about work.
on the bright side, i get paid for that extra half hour ;) teehee
uh... oh; i finally stooped down as low as to write a fan fiction so i could try and get out of my writer's block. and it did work. and oddly enough, i'm rather proud of that lil' short fan fiction! heehee ^_~` if ya'll are 'desperate' to read it, it's over at: http://community.livejournal.com/fma_het/ other than that whatever. it just helped me remember how to slow down and take my time. though i still feel like i rushed through it o.0` i can never win, can I?
