yeah, so i got a migraine today at work. It sucked!!! it hit at about 2 pm, at 2:22 pm i started getting this circular flashing lights on the side of my vision, and it slowly got bigger, and bigger, and bigger; and finally about 2:50 i called another cashier up and begged them for a break and i went to the backroom (stumbling through the shelves as I went) and laid my head down and practically prayed for my vision to come back (there's nothing scarier for an artist than the idea of going blind. and i serious thought i was going blind.)
so after 15 minutes my eyes finally seemed to go back to normal, but i felt dizzy and like i was going to collapse or throw up -or something... but i stuck it out till 4 till i realized i wasn't really remembering anything that I was doing while at cashwrap -so i called another cashier up to take my place and i pulled my drawer. after counting my till (surprisingly i had a perfect till. I was expecting to be 5 dollars over or short) i called up a manager and begged her to let me go home early... a whole 15 minutes early... woo! look at me... sticking out a migraine at work for 2 and a half hours! ... -.- yeah, next time i think i'll just beg to go home early.
That thing slayed me though. I had promised my brother we'd watch the new Anime Gun-Sword after i got home from work, but i was so utterly destroyed that i crawled into bed (somehow managing to get into my jammies. i still have no real memory of doing that...) and then crashing for 3 hours. i woke up around 7 and appologized to my brother then watched the anime.
that show is so funny because it uses every crappy cliche' in every crappy anime or kiddy show out there, and makes fun of it while still pulling off awesome action. Like in episode 3, my brother and I was laughing so hard because it was "It's the power rangers!!" all over again. we are still dissapointed that Vann didn't pilot the pink, girly mecha called 'the Pink Flamingo' but that's okay. it was funny just to watch him go 'oi, why does EVERY moron have an armor now days!' it's from the creators of Cowboy Beebop and i think Trigun as well, so it has this nice action with 'WTF?' trigun humor. it's a nice mix though it is corny -like in episode 2 the guys mustache moves and attacks people. it is still disturbing to watch it because it looks like attack of the nose hairs. but it's great just to watch Vann look confused, beat the crap out of them, then order up a steak and pile everything known to man on that sucker. and yes, EVERYTHING! including an entire bottle of ketchup, mustard, relish, honey, hot sauce, soy sauce... ect ect. it's soooo nasty but it's so funny to see the other characters faces because they're thinkin' the same thing the audiance is thinking -"that is so nasty!"
so yeah.. i recommend it if you want something sort of mindless but entertaining. though for a nice change we all know the plot of the show -he's chasing after a man who killed his fiancee' and the little girl is chasing the same man because he kidnapped her brother. So it's nice to know why the characters are traveling around ... unlike other shows where it's pointless until the last 3 episodes.
and my thumb is twitching and it's really weird... i think i might still be out of it... bleh...
oh and on a "lighter" bit of news; my sister is pregnant... again... but you want to know the real kicker? .... it's twins. *snickers* i TOLD her she'd have twins. cause her current husband is a twin and we have a history of twins in our family. so it was my utter joy to rub it in her face that i was right and she was wrong (because i still remember seeing her scoff at me and say 'there's no way i'll have twins') true they're fraternal twins, but i'm still right! HAH!
... but yeah, -.- oi... not one new baby, but two. she had better get her act together cause even mom and dad said they are figuring this one out on their own. they aren't going to help them as much like what they did with Hailee.
maybe that's why i got a Migraine... that or staying up late and writing... though oddly enough i went to bed early even for staying up late and writing... at least by my standards... around 1... and i even got an extra hour of sleep because work on Sunday isn't till 8 unlike 7 normally...
anyway, i think i'm done rambling. though i've decided that i'm going to work very hard at this college thing because the more i think about my life, the more i want to be a writer/director... i think i'd be so much fun to make movies ^-^ . and this english 111 is the first required class for anything writing, so i figured if I get the requirements out of the way then i can start doing what i want/need to and then look elsewhere (other colleges that is) for what i want to focus on... i know the schools back east are more dedicated to these types of arts... so guess i'm still going to keep my eyes open.
all right ya'll, ramble to ya later
