things are well. I seem to be in a deep trance of constant work. home is work with the three kids and a constant battle to stay clean. work is work with even greater responsibility in the midst of a comm center overhaul. and I'm fit for the challenge. the state of the comm center is edging toward critical mass. staffing has reached an all time low and I lost barb for my debut as supervisor due to a family emergency.  its interesting to me that even without an assistant I can manage the shift well, but for so long I was doubted as a potential leader.

I have been officially offered the position of supervisor and will command a shift for emergency communications.  I speant some time speaking with the chief today and look forward to taking a larger role in the things to come.
