Jury Duty
Good evening, my lovelies.
It's an interesting time in the life of Kesela. I'm in the FAB lab prior to singing my jury. I'm sure I'll do well, considering my new technique of removing my glasses prior to performances. I can't see a thing, and it works wonderfully. Wish me Luck!
In other news, the Alberta budget was delivered on yesterday, and I was there to see it. Iris Evans wore a ridiculously bright pink business suit, with a matching scarf. It was...interesting. However, Alberta still has the lowest taxes in the country, which I appreciate, since I live here. ^_^ After the budget presentation, we adjourned to Ben's place to watch House of Cards. OH MY GOD!!!! LOOOOVE!!! It was probably the best show I've seen a long while. Very intriguing.
Life is looking up for me. I fly out at six in the morning tomorrow for California, and will have a loverly day, I'm sure. I need to do a lot of studying.
I am, however, feeling extremely nostalgic. tonight is my last solo voice performance of my life, or that's how it feels. I'll probably have to cry about it later, but right now I'm just happy I'm free. The first year has flown by, and I'm not really sure where it went...There were so many changes, some for the better, some for the worse. For all of you who had a part in it, I thank you dearly for the good times, and wish you all the best this summer.
