Necromancy

So, I'm back from the dead. I realize that many of you will find this to be a shocking situation, so I should explain the last few weeks here. I spent most of the last two weeks sick as a dog and alone at Chez Murray. I had an awful cold(It hurt so bad I had to cry) and the Murrays were on a cruise in the sunny Caribbean(lucky them). So I languished at home and didn't do anything except what I had to. I also watched movies and drank lots and lots of tea. I do like tea. I goes especially well with the Lord of the Rings.

The above circumstances, accompanied by a healthy dose of "I just want a hug from my mom" , "My driving instructor's an ass", "my favorite pants ripped", "what was that noise in the empty house?!" and a strong component of "I really just want to go back to bed and try again...in three weeks", made my week pretty shitty. I think I'm on the mend now, and will indeed be able to sing my voice jury, for which I am very very thankful.

In other news, I spent a good deal of my day yesterday packing. "For what?" I can feel your curiosity. I am spending my Easter break, prior to exams, in California with my family, at Chez Earle(Of the Colin variety). For those of you that are unaware, my older brother Colin lives in San Fransisco with his wife and three daughters. This, I have decided, is a mostly shitty situation of which we must make the better of by going to visit him regularly.

Scholastically, I am almost done, and that's all that counts. I got my Poli Sci paper back and was disappointed (B-, I know you all think I'm nuts, but I have A's in everything else). History, on the other hand, made my life with it's A minusey goodness. French is finished until the final, and I don't have to go to Psych until 11:00 tomorrow! ^_^ This is fortunate, considering my last conversation with my body went something like this:

Mind: "All right, there was the alarm clock. Get your ass out of bed"
Body: Ummmm...I don't think so, actually. Nope. We don't have to today.
M: *sigh* Yes, yes you do.
B: Naw, we don't really. Nothing to do in history today, and you have no English or French. Nothing until two o frickin clock!
M: *schemes* Just think of what your mother would say...
B: Shit.

As you can see, it's a regular fight. So, luckily, the mind can capitulate tomorrow, because I don't have class. This will be a wonderous improvement for my overall consciousness. ^_^

I think that's really all for now...carry on celebrating the last week of classes, everyone!
