Yeah, it's been a long time coming. And the funny part is that while he's here we're going to spend it (in all likelihood) in the same IRC channel playing D&D.

Work has been horrid of late. I'm working in four departments just to get my twenty hours a week, and even so paying for things is a little more upsetting than it rightly ought to be. But I'm confident that it'll all work out!
ladyetaine (my darling wife) was going to get an online high-school degree (after assuring me that she had checked it out and that it was not, in fact, a scam) but - as our debit card lay waiting on her desk, naked and ready for the desperate call upon its might that we were about to place - she did one last google and, well.

On another note, I've been drawing a lot lately. Both drawing and painting, really - trouble is, most of what I've been doing is fairly big stuff so there's not a whole hell of a lot to show for it until it's all done. But last night a magical thing happened, and - lo!
