Oh, my! What an age of convenience.
So it turns out I can update my journal from jabber? Huh, huh, huh.
I dunno, I guess I don't see how a smaller window with no neat web2.0 applets and spell checker is an improvement. Maybe if I were the sort of horrible asshole who updates nine times a day ("i had a cheese sandwich, it was disappointing. mood: let down.") it'd matter to me more.
The knowledge that if I hit enter prematurely this entire mess gets sent journalside also sort of ramps the pressure up. I dunno, maybe I'm just weird.
I've also got a saved draft for a proper post on the LJ site! Yes, it sometimes takes me several days to formulate my posts. Maybe no-one explained to me how this is supposed to work.
