(no subject)
Today I had some great interaction with Kaleb. He initiated circles, which was just amazing. He did this several nights ago, too. (The night that he was up until 4:30am or so, as I popped in at 3am and played with him for a little bit.)
Kaleb had his hands in front of him, together, palms facing down. I put my hands the same way, but next to his hands. He started lightly slapping his hands on top of mine. Then he started clapping in the same rhythm, so I started clapping. He put his hands on the outside of my hands and clapped with them, and then he put his hands inside of mine so that I would clap his hands. Then I stopped and put my hands like we started, together with palms facing down, and he slapped the back of them again a few times. Then he put his face up so that I would tap my hands on his. This is a huge piece of DIR; Kaleb started a circle himself.
This was similar to the other night, where he would start something for me to imitate, and then he would change it.
This is so exciting!
