Best-Laid Plans Fall Through - Suggestions?

I had plans for Saturday, and they fell through. Now I have
no plans at all for Saturday, because I discarded all the
notices for events that were going to conflict with the fallen
plans.

Suggestions? Invitations? I'm in Menlo Park, and I can't
drive or walk too far, so for anything past about Sunnyvale
to the South or Belmont to the North, I would request a ride.
We could also do movies etc. on the full-wall screen at my
place (best after dark, which is pretty early these days :-b ).
