I'm employed!!!!!!
Two years after leaving the job at university, i am once again employed full time at a non-temporary job (i've been working for a temp agency for the last year). I had my inperson interview yesterday and they called this morning to offer me the job. Yay!!!!!!
And the timing couldn't have been better as Ma'am's last day at her job from heck was last Friday (thank the Goddess!) So as Ma'am posted on FB - our household was unemployed for about a day and a half. Gotta love how the universe provides.
I'll be working as front desk for both the lab and x-ray dept at a regional medical clinic. I think i'm going to enjoy it. My first day is Monday, Oct 22 and will be me learning the first of 4 new computer systems. EEP!!!! i know i can do it, it's just a big intimidating to think about. But, like i said, i think i'm going to enjoy it (even if i am a bit nervous).
Well, just wanted to share the good news w/ everyone. Thank you all for your well wishes and good thoughts sent our way, they helped.
