Stuff
My apologies for not posting more. I just can't seem to get in the habit of posting regularly.
My job is going very well. I really enjoy the company of my coworkers, my work duties are actually kinda fun, and I really don't seem to mind having to go to work every morning. Baker has been offering overtime lately for people who want to work on a big project we have going on, so I've been working an extra hour every day (they are giving everyone a flat $20.00/hr for the OT - which for me is higher than time and a half), and will probably go in for a bit on Sunday. With our vacation coming up (most of which will be unpaid for me, since i haven't worked there long enough), we can certainly use the money.
Ginkgo grows more every day. She's probably about 35lbs now. She is pretty hyper sometimes, but she is such a sweetie. She loves just to sit next to you with her head on your lap and get petted. She can sit and shake very well, and will lay down and stay fairly well. We have been working on fixing the camera situation, but unfortunately we think that when she chewed through the (plugged in) upload cord, she kinda fried the whole upload process. We got a new cord, and it won't register in the camera. We did dig up an old camera that I had, so maybe I can get it to work.
The weather is bizarre lately. Coming home from the gym last night it was both raining and snowing at the same time, and it wasn't even very cold out. We have not planted anything in our garden due to the recent cold snap, which is frustrating. We want to get stuff planted before we leave on our trip, but we'll see. We're excited about coming down to Florida! I think we both could use a vacation, plus it will be nice to see familiar people and places :)
