wednesday is soup day
two things.
1 - awesome: Becca's mushroom soup. seriously. The. Best. Mushroom. Soup. Ever. EVER! oh, and her homemade bread is pretty kickass, even though Morgan had his hands and mouth all over my piece.
2 - forgot that I had an evaluation today. whoops. When/how did I remember? When the principal reminded me this morning. It was for the dreaded "last hour of the school day" where nothing productive ever happens. Well, something happened, and my kids were GREAT! like, so great I went and bought them each a pop, 'cause seriously, they were fantastic! It was one of the greatest french lessons yet. Oh right, it was a french lesson that she came in to watch. Oh, and the other great part? She forgot to come after recess... after about 20 minutes of working through the lesson (without her), i sent a student down to see if she was going to be able to come, and when she came, she was breathless, and super apologetic, especially since it was she who had reminded me this morning.
