Took a half-day on Wednesday, then went home and took a nap. Went over to help my parents set up for their New Year's Eve party, planning to come home later & watch LA Confidential, and ended up staying. Back from 3-day cruise to Ensenada.

Royal Caribbean (this cruise) = good.
Carnival (last cruise) = teh sukc.

Found sea legs by Sunday afternoon. Now I want my land legs back.

alenxa and I are posting photos, commentary, and silliness from Hawaii over at K-Squared Ramblings. I posted a few items yesterday, and we've divided up who gets what topic/photo set/etc. for things we'll be adding over the next few days.

Two weekends ago, alenxa and I agreed that, within the week, we would pick a vacation destination within a week, and make arrangements to go somewhere for a week sometime in March. I just realized one of my friends is touring Thailand this month, and I'm not sure whether he's back yet or, if not, what part of the country he would have been in on Sunday.

Somehow he's managed to be in New York during 9/11, Madrid during the train bombing, and now (maybe) Thailand during the tsunami.
