I'm a lucky man. In addition to the great good fortune that has always followed me, I now have two little boys who love being with me. This older one is a little funny though. We live in a nearly-45 year old townhouse. It creaks so you can hear people walking around it. I don't think Kimball has figured that out yet. He doesn't seem to pay

For the August 29th version of CWS Day, Kimball and I went to Burke Lake Park. We went by to see Keith O'Connor for a while and then spent the rest of the day enjoying park's amenities.
While Lesley and I were away at Mark and Jaime's wedding, we bought Kimball a really cool Usborne book: Look Inside an Airport. He liked it so much I've bought him a few others form the same company. One ("Look inside Things that go") mentioned underground trains. Kimball was incredulous. I told him I ride an underground train to work every day

I am not a city boy. I have access to a great number of country solutions for the problems that come up in day-to-day life, but those aren't always appropriate for the townhouse community where I live

There is a disconnect in the way that adults use language from the way kids use language, In fact there is a disconnect between how every individual human uses language. As adults we have learned to interpret (kind of) what other people mean and can follow along with their slightly odd use of what they claim is the same language that you speak.
