Rapunzel had never really...dealt with death before. She had, every so often, stumbled across the remains of a dead bug in the tower and had promptly called her mother or Pascal. Her mother had been content to chide Rapunzel about picking it up herself - good heavens, girl, can't you even pick up a simple bug? - and Pascal ( ... )

Talia took her time in preparing for this, but not out of any sense of vanity or anything similar. She had taken time, over the last several weeks, to patch and properly care for her Whites as was proper of any Herald on or off Circuit. The leathers had been torn through and punctured in places, blood near staining the white material, but Talia had not been put off her mission ( ... )

She wasn't alone. The moment Kevas witnessed her uncertainty he moved to her side, placing a hand on her shoulder. It was hard for some to do this alone, especially ones such as her. Kevas doubted that a sheltered girl like her had seen a bird die much less a person.

"If joo be needin' help I be here," Kevas said to her softly.

Mimmi had been to two real funerals in her lifetime. One for her grandfather, whom she couldn't remember, and one for her grandmother, one of her closest friends when she was very young. Death hadn't been an uncommon occurrence in her life, and it was easy to look the other way when a neighbor died back home. But being subjected to it from an early age didn't make it any easier, especially when those involved were people she'd come to love.

The Elegante had shown her that.

But this wasn't a funeral. It was much too late for that. Instead, upon arrival, Mimmi approached the graves, knelt, and placed a single stone upon the dirt. Then she backed away, head bowed.

Once he finished with his own moment of remembrance Kevas stepped away from the graves and stood beside the table. Now he would just supervise the occasion for the others. Everyone here deserved this moment, even the worst of them, though Kevas would be surprised if people like Tony and Ganondorf even cared about others than themselves.

For the moment he refrained from the wine. That was for the other attendants, at least for now. He might have been showing restraint now but if there was anything left once this was all over he'd eagerly snatch it up.

So there Kevas stood, ready to answer a question if needed or stop trouble before it started.

Talia had remained to one side while Kevas made his peace and only after he'd moved aside did she make her way to him. She comes up from the side, her hand sliding along his arm until she stands alongside him.

"This is a good thing you've done, beloved," she says softly. She knows it wasn't something he did for praise, but for all of those that lost something when not only The End came, but whatever force Lord Deior had taken them from as well.

Once he felt her nearby, Kevas lost interest on what was going on around him. There was a reason he called her here but know he was starting to wonder if there was a better time for this. Too late now though, he already said he had something he wanted to talk about and he wasn't about to chicken out now.

"I hope so," he replied. His hand went to his side, feeling the necklace in his pocket just to make sure it was still there.

Talia can't tell exactly what has Kevas tense, but in just touching his arm it's more than apparent. She moves in so she is against his side, her arm sliding around his back where she runs her fingers in small circles.

She watches those as they gather, each offering their own form of grief to those lost or their memories. Some arrive and remain in the background, but she thinks no less of they that do so. To each is their own sense of grief and their own form of mourning.

She leans her head against his arm, nodding once more. "It is .. You might not have many tell you such, but it is." There is no doubt in her voice as she says it.

Somehow, Ganondorf didn't think this was a good idea. Coming here, at least. He had mourned his lost a long time ago and didn't see the point in this at all. But well, it got him out of his room, at least.

But at least he wasn't alone. Zelda was there with him, somewhere. His attention remained fixed on a grave for a moment as he thought about what he had lost.

He wasn't the only one who thought him being there was a bad idea. The only reason Kevas invited everyone was because he didn't expect the trash to show up. Maybe he should have made a distinction after all, but it was too late for that now and he wouldn't go back on his own words, not on this day.

That wasn't going to keep Kevas from watching him like a hawk.

Ganondorf can feel someone's eyes on him. He looks up, almost expecting it to be Zelda. But...it's not. Instead it's Kevas. Great. Ganondorf only returns the stare.

He's not here to stir up trouble, actually. He's just here with his woman. So back off, Troll.

Let him stare. Kevas wants him to know that he's watching.

As long as Ganondorf keeps it civil the troll will allow his presence, but as long as he's here the troll's hands will always be close to his swords.

Oghren doesn't usually go for this kind of thing, but since he's here and he's had more time to sit and think about things than he'd care to, he shows up and finds a spot by himself. He undoes his flask and pours some of the contents on the ground.

"This is for you Branka, you damned stubborn woman. You should have stayed home."
