Talia took her time in preparing for this, but not out of any sense of vanity or anything similar. She had taken time, over the last several weeks, to patch and properly care for her Whites as was proper of any Herald on or off Circuit. The leathers had been torn through and punctured in places, blood near staining the white material, but Talia had not been put off her mission.
She'd simply worked all the harder to make certain she'd done a proper job.
She dressed in those white leathers now, the material soft as it had been the day she'd first been given it, boots more worn than typically preferred but still wearable.
She had taken time before she came to prepare a small token, but one as meaningful to her to give as it would have ever been to receive. If one were to look closely they might see the section of hair shorter than the others. They might recognize the woven bracelet in her hand as having come from that same auburn hair.
She makes her way down to the Green, eyes moving over the area that Kevas has put together. Her gaze falls on the troll she has taken as her own, but she interrupts him not. Instead, her gaze falls on Rapunzel, the younger girl looking lost and no small bit overwhelmed as she stands slightly away.
She walks over to the girl, gently touching her arm as she speaks. "You may lay those by the graves is you wish .. one one or scattered." Her expression is compassionate and warm, not judgmental in the slightest. "If you've anything to say to those you've lost, you may say it here without fear of judgement or ridicule. There is nothing special you're meant to say, nor any specific manner it's meant to be done."
She gestures around at those gathering with her free hand. "No one here has any place to do such, nor would they think to."
She gives the girl a gentle smile before moving toward the head stones Kevas has placed. She then pulls out the bracelet of woven hair, similar to the one made of white hair that she wears around her wrist. Her thumbs slide over the braid, gaze unfocused and distant before she kneels down, legs folding neatly beneath herself.
They were not here, those loved ones whose names moved through her mind; nor, did she think, they every would be. Her kith and kin were lost to her and she made no misconceptions about seeing them again. Skif was gone .. and Dirk, her lost love .. and Rolan; Rolan whose hair the bracelet she wore was made from.
The silence stretches until her legs begin to tingle from lack of proper bloodflow and the damp of the grass begins to sink into the knees of her breeches. She pulls the white haired bracelet from her wrist, then and looks down at it. So different from the hair she'd taken from her own head, and yet no less meaningful a gift. She raises the white bracelet, her lips brushing the woven hair.
"Goodbye, my love," she whispers softly. She pays no mind to the tears that track down her cheeks as she lowers both bracelets and sets them before one of the headstones. Her hand lingers over it, "Until the Havens welcome me."
Her hands lifts then and she slowly unfolds herself from before the headstone, rising on legs that nearly protest. She brushes her cheeks free and exhales, looking upward at the sky before her hazel gaze moves once again to Rapunzel.
"It will be different for everyone." She moves from the Headstones then, smiling gently at the girl as she moves past her once more and to one side where she'll wait for Kevas.
