ice cream is the best! I would get a job in ice cream if it didn't reduce my love to ice cream to an intense hatred. (I have to keep these things seperated, you know?)

I know what you mean about bored and tired and meh. I had a bout of that not too long ago. Hope your new job helps. Oh and I'll be back in town soon enough so of course that's gonna help ;)

Congrats again about the job. Oh, and I'm doing okay. You want some turtle rum?

Welcome to the vampire bunch! ...literally. I'm a little down over trying to hunt down a job, but other than that I'm doing pretty good. Crazy and random as ever, though since my last bit of writing, the story about the guardsman, I haven't put forth anything worthy of public consumption ( ... )

My boss at Sears asked me whether I was a vampire given the nature and shift of my new job. I told him I was tired of slathering on sunscreen every time I had to go to work. Good luck with your own job search ( ... )

This is why I go uber random and left field with you. You're about the only person that I can expect to keep up. Or, at least you fake it well.

Also, since you're one of the few who might appreciate how much it rips off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mWaoDVJBVg

Also, I think that the Tau are just confused whenever another race gets their emotions going. I mean, that's the best reason I've come up with for their sterilization camps.

You're all in trouble.

Good to hear from you, even if you are in danger of becoming a popsicle :)

I say this with great respect, but why the hell are you working at Sears? Weren't you a science major?

There simply is a rather appalling lack of science-related jobs that do not require a doctorate or seven years of experience in the industry already. Sears was my "I need money while I continue my so-far fruitless job search for an actual job that will make use of my degree" job. The blood bank spot is much more in line with what I should be doing, and there's a lot of upward mobility within the blood bank as a company; I certainly would not mind a spot as a lab director with them or something.

Otherwise I plan to start working either on various science-related certifications while I'm with the blood bank and will possibly go back to school for a master's program or potentially an accelerated doctorate program, but I was seriously just sick of school after getting my bachelor's and was hoping to find a decent job right out the gate.

Believe you me, I was more than disappointed with myself when I ended up with nothing but a spot at Sears moving heavy merchandise around.
