Apparently I'm weird in that I treat my blogs like a journal (diary).
tangowhiskey49 told me that he's surprised at the "openness" in my blog entries. I was sort of taken aback -- is this not what everyone does? -- but maybe he's right. Maybe a public space shouldn't actually serve the same function as the diary hidden under my mattress. But.
Diaries are boring. They're written by me, usually about me, for ... who? Future me, to come back and read years later? (which I have done, and it was fun. and funny. and sad. but still.) Blah. I'd rather have an audience. Yay writing as performance art!
So, my apologies for using the public space for personal opinions. =) I do generally tuck the scary-personal stuff behind a link with a TMI warning so you have to really mean it if you go read it. And tell you what, I'll throw in some random fluff to keep the space more public-like, k? k.
