Yesterday was mostly sunny but chilly with thick frost first thing. We woke up far too early (I blame the light mornings!), but that was OK. Celebrating birthdays 'normally' is a real pleasure, isn't it! (We will have another to add to our April birthday heap - as of this moment it goes Niece 2 on the 2nd, D-d on the third, and Niece 1 on the 10th - but they are inducing niece 2 today so will we go 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th!)

It is, although it's worrying that more and more people here are getting Covid. I'm still carrying around hand sanitiser, wearing a mask and washing my hands!

We used to have the same issue with November, as loads of family birthdays were in that month! Sadly because it was a lot of the older generation that's no longer an issue :(
