Friday musings

What a contrast from yesterday! Today we've had nothing but sunshine which is wonderful after all the changeable weather recently. Only 10C/50F but in the sun it's felt much warmer.  The garden is looking much more Spring-like today so I took some photos (more under the cut including lemons!):

The white camellia is just coming out:

The red one has a lot more flowers now even though loads got knocked off by the hail yesterday.

The woodland area at the end of the garden is looking very pretty now.

Narcissi with hellebores in the background.

A daffodil!

My next door neighbour has a lovely tree that has started to blossom.

My three lemon trees are still in their shelter to protect them from frost (we had a little this morning), but one of them has lemons that are starting to ripen.

I wasn't sure what to do today as it's been quite a hectic week of exercise and my body was feeling the effects (particularly after a really tough Pilates lesson last night). In the end I made up my mind to go to the Tai Chi lesson in a nearby town today and I thought I'd go on the bus. Unfortunately I was just far enough away from the bus stop and the stupid bus was early so I missed it and ended up going back to get the car anyway *grrr*.

Anyhoo I had a good hour doing Tai Chi which was lovely as it is the beginners class so it's the early stuff which I can sort of remember.  It was a flowy calm session for me and an uncoordinated hour for the beginners LOL!  They are improving which is nice to see (and the people there today have come for three lessons which shows some commitment).

I drove back via the local bakers because I hadn't had any lunch so a doughnut for me and Mr Cee (who had eaten) was very much appreciated when I got home. YUM! I know that's not very healthy but I don't care. I shall have vegetables tonight. The rest of the day I shall be taking it easy. Mr Cee has a late meeting, and the cats need cuddles, so apart from cooking dinner later I don't have anything planned.

Today's question: 25. What is the least inspiring/interesting meal you've eaten?
This is a difficult question! I I suppose some of those meals you have because you only have 10 minutes for lunch - such as the rather bland supermarket sandwiches I used to buy for lunch when I was working. Chicken sandwiches that taste of nothing are really disappointing....

The rest of the questions are here.
