This week is whizzing past! Yesterday was busy as it started with me walking to our local small town to get my hair cut and coloured. My appointment was to be lunchtime, but instead was moved to midmorning as she has had so many people cancelling their appointments because they have Covid! It was very quiet while I was there, she usually has several people in at the same time as me, but yesterday it was just me all morning! It was nice to be able to chat, but I do feel sorry for her - it must be so worrying.
Mr Cee picked me up afterwards and we had a late lunch. Around 4pm we jumped on the bus to go to a different cinema to our usual nearby Odeon. We decided to try a newly refurbished cinema and we were glad we did as there were only 7 of us to see Spider-Man No Way Home. We were all very spread out and all fully masked. We really enjoyed the film - it's a really good follow up to the two previous Tom Holland films. It's very difficult to comment on the story without giving away too much of the plot - so all I can say is that the performances from all the cast were really amazing, and we've really enjoyed Tom Holland's spider-man. It sounds like there might be another one with Tom at the helm which is something to look forward to!
Today the weather is 11C/52F and overcast with some drizzle. This morning I've been to Pilates - there were a lot of new people which is good for my teacher, and it meant we had lots of choices of the level of difficulties for the exercises. She made me do the hard stuff of course *g* Lunch has been had and I don't have many plans for this afternoon other than to watch a drama/documentary based on Vincent Van Gogh's letters with Benedict Cumberbatch as Vincent (Vincent Van Gogh: Painted with words).
This evening will be the first bellydance class of 2022 which I'm looking forward to.
In the meantime I have questions:
10. What Olympic (or other) sport would be the funniest to add a mandatory amount of alcohol to?
Drunk athletes is a bit of nightmare waiting to happen isn't it? I imagine there would be many injuries! How about table tennis?
11. What do you think are three things that are pretty great or interesting about you?
This kind of question is always hard isn't it? I think it's much easier to list faults, but I'll give it a go:
1. I am good at organising things
2. I'm a bit of a geek about all kinds of things
3. I have a good sense of humour
