Yesterday evening we walked down to our local town to get a few things before it all goes mad on Monday with all the shops opening up again. It was very quiet, but we got some things for dinner and checked out all the notices in the shop windows announcing they are opening up again. It was quite mild as the chilly wind had dropped and we got quite warm walking in our winter coats.
Not so today! Overnight there's been rain which the garden is very happy about as we've not had rain for a while. The wind is bitterly cold though and until yesterdays 14C/57F it's down to 6C/42F. So Mr Cee and I stayed in this morning - I did my accounts for the year and he reinstalled the wifi extenders as we've been having issues with the wifi for the past couple of days.
After lunch we went out to get some paint as we want to revamp our wooden outside table. It's too wet to do it at the moment, but I can have a project to rub down the wood and repaint it when the weather gets a bit drier (and warmer). I spent the rest of the afternoon tidying up our front living room where things have been dumped on the shelves in there. It was satisfying - I found some books I haven't read yet! Ornaments got dusted!
Now we're going to try and find something to watch that isn't about the Duke of Edinburgh which is proving to be a little challenging......

When we lived in Bergen we went on their 'Norway in a Nutshell' day trip. It has some of the most beautiful scenery. Under the cut for a short video showing some of it off....
