Another dreary day
So - they're making another Indiana Jones film...isn't Harrison Ford pushing past 78??
Mr Cee suggested: 'Indiana Jones and The Old People's Home" as a possible title. How about "Indiana Jones and the Replacement Hip Surgery' or 'Indiana Jones Forgets Where He Left his Keys". Bless him.... How much CGI will there be to make it look like Mr Ford can still catch the bad guys.
Anyhoo - we had much excitement at 9.30pm last night when Tippi brought a shrew inside. It wasn't dead and promptly shot under the shoe cupboard in the hallway where we spent the next 25 minutes trying to get it out. Eventually we managed it, but it was not looking very well when Mr Cee deposited it outside in the front garden. I hope it recovered and found its way home. Cats *sigh* - we've never had a shrew before.....
This morning I have been mostly doing housework and cooking up a cabbage for lunch - I made a kind of casserole with leftover bacon, onion, cabbage, ginger, garlic, mashed potatoes and cream.
We've been rewatching Sherlock as Netflix has all the episodes and three 'behind the scenes' short documentaries which are fun. We'd forgotten some of the twists in the plots and it's nice to see the chemistry between Cumberbatch and Freeman as they've both gone on to do other bigger things since. I'd also forgotten each episode is 90 minutes - pretty much a feature film each time. We will continue this afternoon as we've done all the chores we had planned.
On to the question of the day:
11: Are you more sensitive to heat or the cold.
I think it depends on the other factors in addition to the temperature. For example I like a cold snowy day as long as it's not windy, and I don't mind a hot day as long as it's not humid. I think I'm more sensitive to the heat though - I feel more uncomfortable on a hot humid day if the temperature gets above 25C/77F, and I find it difficult to sleep.
