This morning I had the second of my Arts and Crafts online short course. It clashed with our usual Swiss Ball Pilates, but as it finishes next week I decided to miss out on the lesson and Mr Cee took it on his own. We were slightly concerned that two of us on Zoom at the same time might be pushing the wifi beyond it's limits, but it was fine so that was a relief.
This week in the course we looked in more detail at the Guilds and societies that grew up as a result of the Arts and Crafts movement betwen 1860 into the 1880s. Many of these societies and Guilds still exists even though their formats might have changed a little bit. It was an interesting 90 minute session. I've decided that these WEA courses are very interesting on the whole but the tutor makes so much difference. The ones I've enjoyed are delivered by people who are well read in the subject they are delivering (or work in the sector) and it makes so much difference!
After I'd finished we went for a walk - even though it has been a dreary day - it was nice to get out of the house. After lunch we went to a different garden centre which was nice as we finally tracked down a centre whose aquatic department is still open! So I could buy a new aquatic plant for my little patio pond and some oxygenating weed to keep the water sweet. When we got home I planted up the new plant and the ponds are settling down so I'll post photos once they have become clear again.
I have two Etsy orders to fulfill next week. It's interesting how they are coming regularly - my Facebook page seems to generate quite a lot of traffic to my site.
Soon there will be dinner of chicken in red wine with potatoes and green veggies, and definitely wine..... In the meantime I have a question for today:

I wanted a pony or a horse. It was never going to happen LOL!

22. Do you have a preference on name brand vs store brand?
23. Preferred water temperature for showering?
24. What was the size of your high school?
25. What's an opinion you held for a long time that you no longer hold?
26. What is the most frivolous item you own? (No purpose or value)
27. Have you ever failed a class?
28. Do you have a certain way you have to sleep? (Covered, not covered, with or without noise etc)
29. Do you manage your time well?
30. What was the last book you read?31. What would you do if you became immortal?
182 estimated Covid cases in my area (down 58 from last week). I'm getting impatient for the 29th now, I really, really want to go out and eat, and the restaurants will open up external areas then. I'm soooooooo bored with cooking at home for every meal (although Mr Cee does take over occasionally, it's usually down to me to plan meals for the week).
