It's the weekend.....

Saturday! This week there was Swiss ball Pilates in the morning which was fun (Mr Cee always makes me laugh as he has such a grin on his face when he's bouncing on the ball in the cardio section LOL!). My Fitbit says I did 7 minutes at peak heart rate, 22 minutes of cardio and 26 minutes of fat burn (and 8 minutes below the higher heart zones because we were stretching).

I also made lots of sourdough bread - I'd made twice the amount of dough as usual - so four loaves instead of the usual two, but that's OK as they freeze well:

After that we went to the local garden centre as we needed to move a couple of rhodedendron plants which were not happy where I planted them three years ago. They were looking very sad, so we've bought a couple of big pots and they should be happier in the acid soil we've given them rather than the clay soil they were in. Then Mr Cee set his robot lawn mower going and it trundled around the garden as a test for 30 minutes. The cats are very suspicious, but it's extremely quiet, so hopefully they will get used to it. The garden birds didn't seem bothered at all...

This afternoon has been spent doing a few household chores.  There was a thefridayfive which I missed.

1) Where in the entire world would you love to be vacationing right now?
Providing there was no Covid19 I would love to be somewhere near the sea where it is warm, but not hot. Where I could swim in warm water, and eat delicious food and walk along sandy beaches, and absorb some gorgeous culture.

2) Where in your own home country or state would you love to be vacationing right now?
Somewhere where there are antiques shops to browse, afternoon teas to eat and culture to absorb. As we are still in full lockdown this is not going to happen.  The city of Bath springs to mind.
3) Where would you love to vacation later on this year when the weather is different?
In all honesty I'm not going on holiday this year unless there's somewhere we can be alone like we did last year in Suffolk.
4) Where are you likely to vacation this year?
We were actually thinking of going back to where we went last year in the semi lockdown if everything is open that is... who knows - it might be another summer of staycation....

5) And next year?
I'd like to actually get to Brussels where we had a holiday planned last year. I'm not sure about next year though - let's see how this year pans out....
I also have another of the 365 questions:
6. As a child, who was your favourite relative and why
My grandmother - I was her favourite, and so I was spoiled. Probably not very good for me - but she would give me a lot of time and taught me how to crochet, to play lots of different card games, and she took me and my brother to many, many museums when we went to stay with her over the summer holidays. I owe her a lot and I still miss her - she never saw her great grandchildren as she died just before Eldest Cee was born - but I think she would think we'd done OK.

Day 58 of Tier 5 lockdown, day 348 since all this *waves hands* started in the UK. Local estimated cases are at 341 - still very slowly going down. More and more people I know have vaccinations booked, or have had the first one. I'm slightly optimistic that things are slowly improving...
